Moroccan Expat, 65, Arrested at Border Crossing with Nearly 12,000 Psychotropic Pills

A 65-year-old individual was apprehended in Bab Sebta on Thursday for his alleged involvement in an attempted drug and psychotropic trafficking case.
The operation, carried out by elements of the National Security, in collaboration with customs agents operating at the Bab Sebta Center, led to the arrest of the suspect upon his arrival, aboard a 4x4 vehicle registered in Spain, according to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
A thorough search of his vehicle led to the seizure of some 11,955 Rivotril-type psychotropic tablets, carefully hidden in the trunk of his vehicle.
For the needs of the investigation, the defendant was placed in custody.
