Moroccan Consulate in Barcelona Temporarily Closes for COVID-19 Sterilization

In order to preserve the health safety of all and to sterilize the spaces, the Moroccan Consulate General in Barcelona will reorganize its consular services following the contamination of some of its employees.

The objective of this reorganization is to maintain the health safety of all in full compliance with the health protocols in force in both countries, the consulate said in a tweet.

The same source reassures about the continuity of the following urgent services throughout this period: repatriation of the remains of deceased citizens, issuance of passports, national identity cards, ready legal contracts, as well as family books.

The two Moroccan Consulates General in Girona and Tarragona will provide the rest of the consular services for those wishing to benefit from them.

Furthermore, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco thanks all applicants for consular services for their understanding. The consulate will resume the provision of all consular services as of Monday, September 21, 2020.
