Morocco’s Montreal Consulate Closes Temporarily Amid COVID-19 Concerns

To avoid the spread of the coronavirus in its premises, the Moroccan Consulate General in Montreal has decided to temporarily close its doors. Several suspected cases have been detected among the employees.
"As part of the prescriptions issued by the health authorities of Quebec, the Consulate General of Morocco will be closed on a provisional basis," a statement said.
The consulate will resume its consular services from February 12 next, the same source added, stating that the appointments made during this period will be postponed. The citizens concerned will be informed by telephone.
For the processing of urgent cases, Moroccans residing in Canada are asked to contact the consulate or send emails to its email address.
