Moroccan Club Olympic de Safi Advances in Arab Champions Cup with Late Goal

In the 16th round of the Arab Mohammed VI Cup of Champions Clubs, Olympic de Safi (OCS) prevailed over the Bahraini club Al Riffa (0-1) on the pitch of the Madinat Khalifa Arriyadia stadium in Bahrain.
This qualification of the Safi club was obtained the day after the first leg match, which saw OCS bow at home to the Bahraini team (1-1).
In Bahrain, the only goal of the match was scored by Koffi Davy Boua in the 86th minute of play, reports the MAP. This feat by the 33-year-old Ivorian player allowed the Moroccan club OCS to secure qualification for the next round.
For the first leg match, this club was held in check by the Bahraini team (1-1). Even though on the pitch of the Al Massira Stadium, the Moroccans opened the scoring thanks to the Ivorian Koffi Boua in the second minute of the match, they had to eventually bow due to the fault of the defender Mourad Naji who unfortunately scored an own goal (73’).
