Raja Casablanca Edges Mouloudia Algiers 2-1 in Mohammed VI Cup Quarter-Final

Raja of Casablanca dominated, this Saturday, the Mouloudia club of Algiers (MCA) on the pitch of the Mustapha Tchaker stadium in Blida, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Mohammed VI Cup.
During this match, Raja defeated MCA (2-1) on their own turf, and thus earned the three points of victory.
Trailing since the 28th minute thanks to a goal by Algerian Sami Frioui on a corner kick by Harrag, the Greens equalized in the 59th minute following a penalty signed by their midfielder and captain, Mohsine Metouali. Like the first goal, Emirati referee Adel Noqbi, officiating the match, validated the penalty after consulting the VAR.
The winning goal came in the 82nd minute, thanks to the nice action of their Congolese striker, Ben Malango.
However, Raja will have to confirm their supremacy in the return match at home, scheduled for February 9.
