Raja Casablanca Secures Second Place in CAF Champions League Group with 1-0 Win

Raja of Casablanca, already qualified for the quarter-finals, dominated, this Saturday, the Congolese club AS Vita club (1-0), in the match counting for the 6th day of group D. This match took place at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.
The Rajaouis did not have too much trouble before getting rid of AS Vita. They held the Congolese in check by scoring the only goal of the match as early as the 3rd minute, thanks to a nice action by the central defender, Badr Banoune.
Although dominating the match, the men of Jamal Sellami failed to win by a large score. At the end of the match, the greens occupy the second position in group D, with 11 points, behind Esperance de Tunis (1st, 11 pts) who lost to the Algerian club JS Kabylie (3rd, 7 pts).
As for AS Vita, it takes the last position in the standings, with 4 points.
