CAF Champions League: Espérance de Tunis Stuns Raja Casablanca 2-0 in Group D Opener
Raja of Casablanca lost, Saturday evening at home, against Espérance de Tunis with a score of two goals to zero (0-2). This match is part of the first day of Group D of the CAF Champions League.
During the 90 minutes of play, the "blood and gold" delivered an excellent game. From the 7th minute of play, the pressure exerted on their opponents was conclusive.
The Franco-Tunisian Anice Badri managed to beat the Raja goalkeeper by concluding the millimeter pass served by his teammate Ibrahim Ouattara.
The second goal came in the 14th minute and was scored by Ivorian striker Ouattara, author of the first decisive pass to the great dismay of the greens.
Note that in the first match of this group, played Friday in Tizi-Ouzou (Algeria), JS Kabylie won (1-0) against Vita Club from the DR Congo.
