Raja Casablanca Seeks Match Postponement Amid Champions League Commitments
The Raja de Casablanca (RCA) is not ready to return home before its return match against the Algerian team of Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK), counting for the Champions League. The green eagles want to postpone their delayed match against Difaâ El Hassani d’El Jadida, counting for the 9th round of Botola.
Currently in Algeria, the RCA, while waiting to play its return match against the Algerian team of Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK), has insisted on the postponement of its Botola Pro match against DHJ scheduled for next Tuesday.
To this end, it has wished, on the part of the authorities, the strict application of Article 21 of the regulations of the competitions of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). The article stipulates that "the makeup match must be scheduled at least three clear days after the date of an international match or competition".
In this regard, Raja de Casablanca is still awaiting a definitive response to its request sent to the Federation and the Professional League on December 26.
After their victory, on Saturday, January 4, against Mouloudia Club of Algiers (MCA) (2-1), as part of the Mohammed VI Cup of Champions Clubs, the Greens trained the next day. According to club officials, the players will continue their training camp in Algeria until the match against JSK, scheduled for Friday, January 10 for the 4th round of the Champions League group stage.
