A Moroccan city among the most beautiful destinations in the world to visit

Veranda, an international magazine dedicated to luxury tourism and decoration (among other things!), has just ranked the city of Marrakech among the most beautiful destinations for next October. For the magazine, "October is the month of saffron harvest, one of Morocco’s main exports. You can find lots of fragrant spices in the souks of the Medina, or visit a neighboring saffron farm to try to pick one of the world’s most expensive spices (just arrange it with the hotel concierge)".

The magazine explains that many people plan their vacations in the summer when the children are on vacation and the weather is hot, but autumn is such an underestimated time to travel. With fewer crowds and cooler temperatures, it’s possible to explore new destinations with ease. Not to mention that the month of October marks the beginning of the harvest season, as well as the launch of arts and culture festivals around the world.
