Morocco Named Top 3 Travel Destination for 2024 by Lonely Planet

Morocco ranks third in the ranking of the ten most beautiful destinations to visit in 2024, compiled by the Lonely Planet website. It is followed by Chile and Benin. Mongolia tops the ranking. "Squeezed between Russia and China, Mongolia seems difficult to access given the recent geopolitical events in its two big neighbors. But the doors of Mongolia are open and a tourism campaign has made it possible to relax visa restrictions until 2025," comments Lonely Planet.

India ranks second. According to Lonely Planet, it is "the most colorful country in the world." "The Indian railways are being spruced up, with new elegant trains across the entire network," the site adds, also recommending that travelers "take a 2,000-mile (over 3,200 km) boat trip on the MV Ganges Vilas, the world’s longest river cruise." Mexico takes 6th place. Then come Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Croatia and Saint Lucia close the podium.
