Morocco Ranks 8th Among Affordable Family Vacation Destinations, Study Finds

Morocco is in the top 10 of "cheap" destinations to visit with family. This is revealed by the ranking of an American specialized site.
Morocco ranks eighth in the ranking of the 15 "cheap" destinations to visit with family, established by Insider Monkey, which estimates that the cost of a one-week stay in the kingdom for two people amounts to $935 (excluding the price of the plane ticket). "Morocco is one of the most economical travel destinations," the American site says, adding that the kingdom ranks 14th on its list of the 20 countries with the lowest cost of living for American citizens. At the African level, Morocco ranks third, behind Egypt and Ethiopia. It ranks second among Arab countries, behind Egypt.
Egypt tops the global ranking of the 15 "cheap" destinations to visit with family. It is followed by India. Then come Serbia, Colombia, Ethiopia, Poland and Russia. Bulgaria takes 9th place. It is followed by Albania. Panama ranks 11th. Hungary takes 13th place. Romania and South Africa close the podium.
To establish its ranking, Insider Monkey listed the 50 most popular tourist countries in the world in 2023. Then the site sorted them according to the cost of a one-week stay for two people.
