Two Moroccan Cities Rank Among Top 10 Valentine’s Day Destinations

According to the ranking of a specialized platform, two Moroccan cities are among the 10 best destinations for a romantic getaway during Valentine’s Day.
In total, 47% of the French plan to travel with their partner this year, for a short or long stay, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, according to the French search engine specialized in air flows and travel comparisons, Liligo. This lovers’ holiday will be celebrated on Friday, February 14th. This allows the French to go on a long weekend.
Unlike 2024 where all the most affordable Valentine’s Day destinations were in Europe, it is the extra-European destinations that are in vogue this year. Two Moroccan cities, Fez (155 euros) and Rabat (190 euros), are among the 10 most affordable destinations, according to the ranking established by Liligo. They occupy the 7th and 9th place respectively. Tunis takes the 8th place. With 170 euros, the French can fly to the Tunisian capital this February.
Barcelona (93 euros) tops the ranking. The Spanish city is followed by Porto (Portugal, 104 euros) and Lisbon (Portugal, 114 euros). Then come Rome (Italy, 122 euros) and Nice (France, 131 euros). Istanbul (Turkey, 217 euros) closes the podium.
