A Moroccan minor suffered a fatal fall on Wednesday at the port of Melilla while trying to sneak clandestinely onto a boat.
It was night when a group of children, in an irregular situation in Melilla, tried to board the ship. In the process, a child suffered a fatal fall.
The rescuers managed to recover the lifeless body of the young Moroccan, while the other stowaways, alerted by the arrival of the Guardia civil, dispersed in the vicinity of the port.
Nearly 490 unaccompanied minors, wandering the streets of Melilla, venture every day to "do the riski". This expression means: take all the risks to embark clandestinely towards Europe.
