Moroccan TV Channel 2M to Replace Daily News with Current Affairs Programs

The national television channel 2M has decided to do without the daily news bulletin. The news was announced on Wednesday by the CEO, Salim Cheikh.
Equipped with high-tech equipment, the sets of 2M’s news programs are being revamped, and are preparing to host TV magazines, which will address current affairs topics on a daily basis.
Speaking before the finance committee within the House of Representatives, the CEO stated that viewers will have an appointment with debate programs on the main topics that have made headlines in the online press.
Salim Cheikh’s presentation took place in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as the CEO of the National Broadcast and Television Company.
