Minor Earthquakes Rattle Morocco’s Rabat Region, No Damage Reported

A slight earthquake occurred on Tuesday in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, more precisely in the areas near Sidi Kacem, Khnichat and Jorf El Melha.
A seismic shock of 2.4 on the Richter scale was felt in the vicinity of Sidi Kacem at 10:40 a.m. and 27 seconds, at a depth of 31 kilometers, according to websites specialized in earthquake monitoring.
The same sources mention an earthquake measuring 2.8 degrees on the Richter scale. This earthquake was centered at a depth of 12.2 kilometers in the suburbs of Khnichat and Jorf El Melha, at 10:08 a.m. and 29 seconds Moroccan time, it is specified.
