Minor Earthquake Strikes Northern Morocco’s Al Hoceima Province

A low-intensity earthquake was recorded this Sunday morning in northern Morocco.
According to data from global seismic monitoring centers, the tremor reached a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter was located near the commune of Targuist, in the province of Al Hoceima. The earthquake, which occurred at 8:03 a.m. local time, was located at a shallow depth, 2.4 kilometers below the surface.
For now, no information has been communicated about any damage or casualties.
