Magnitude 5.2 Earthquake in Morocco Felt Across Southern Spain

The earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale, which hit northern Morocco last night, was felt in several cities in Spain.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred around 11:49 p.m., was located near Ouazzane, in the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, at a depth of 34 kilometers.
The tremor was felt in six Andalusian provinces, including Seville, Cadiz, Malaga, Huelva, Jaén and Córdoba. Residents of several cities, such as Seville, Algeciras, Malaga and Huelva, also reported feeling the shocks.
Despite the moderate intensity of the earthquake, the Andalusian emergency service 112 recorded five calls from concerned citizens, mainly from the provinces of Seville and Huelva.
So far, no casualties or material damage have been reported in Morocco.
