Minor Dies in Police Custody During Hospital Transfer in El Jadida, Morocco

A minor, placed under surveillance for violating the state of health emergency, died this Sunday morning during his transfer to the hospital following a malaise.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicated that the deceased had been transferred, on Sunday at dawn, to the hospital for a health check. He was then placed under surveillance, pending his referral to the competent prosecutor’s office in the morning.
According to the same source, victim of a malaise requiring his transfer to the hospital again, the minor died during the journey.
Pending the results of the investigation opened by the provincial judicial police service, the victim’s body was transferred to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
