McDonald’s France Imports Popular Moroccan Menu Items

Menus that have been successful in Morocco will be marketed for the first time in France by the fast food chain, McDonald’s.
The fries and potatoes in the "melted cheddar and Crispy Onions" version, a tray where the potatoes are covered with cheese and fried onions, which are a hit in Morocco, are among the seven new products that McDonald’s intends to market in France as part of an operation on the sidelines of the opening of the Ligue 1 transfer window, the global fast food giant being its sponsor since the start of the season. The operation takes place from January 7 to February 17, 2025, reports Le Parisien.
The fast food chain will also offer the Double Big Mac, the brand’s historic burger in an enhanced version, marketed in Switzerland, desserts like the McFlurry pistachio and the Sundae à la pistache, popular in Italy, the McFizz, a sparkling green apple flavored soda, usually available in Middle Eastern countries. Customers will also have the opportunity to taste the Coca-Cola without sugar Oreo flavor marketed in several countries, including Germany and Australia, as well as the famous chocolate biscuit.
Last summer, McDonald’s had already carried out a similar operation in France by offering seven new products that had been successful abroad in all its restaurants on the sidelines of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. These products included a "Greek Mac" from Cyprus, a Canadian burger with maple syrup or a Coca-Cola served with vanilla ice cream, popular in the Philippines.
