About fifty stores were ravaged by a spectacular fire that broke out in a souk located in inezgane, about ten kilometers from Agadir.
According to the statements of the President of the Municipal Council of Inezgane, the fire broke out on Thursday morning. The origin of this blaze, which caused significant material damage, is currently unknown.
This is not the first incident of its kind in this market, which covers an area of 3 hectares and houses nearly 1,400 businesses.
In 2018, adds the President, pavilions 2 and 3 of the market were completely destroyed by a devastating fire. The city had also experienced two similar fires in 2007 and 2014.
