Massive Fire at Gas Cylinder Warehouse in Fez Contained After Hours-Long Battle

A fire broke out on Monday evening in a butane gas cylinder warehouse in Rass Kliâ, located in Fez. The firefighters had a lot of difficulty in bringing the fire under control.
The 2M.ma teams dispatched to the scene indicate that huge flames erupted, suggesting explosions of gas cylinders. The fire started at 11:30 pm, and even though there was only material damage, the firefighters took more than three hours to extinguish the flames.
The warehouse includes several commercial premises for the sale of scrap metal and it is fortunate that the employees were not present at the time of the fire.
An investigation has been opened to elucidate the causes of this explosion, which remain unknown for the moment, according to the same source.
