Deadly New Year’s Eve Fire in Tangier Cafe Claims Two Lives, Injures Three

A tragic New Year’s Eve for these two people who lost their lives in a cafe in Tangier. The tragedy, according to local authorities, was caused by a fire that broke out around 12:45 am.
The civil protection elements who arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire also evacuated five people to the regional hospital in Tangier, two of whom did not survive the damage caused by the flames.
According to the initial elements, the fire would have been caused by a short circuit that occurred in this cafe called "Ô75 Paris" located in the Tulipe complex, indicates La Map.
A more thorough investigation has been opened under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office to determine the actual circumstances of this incident, reports the same source.
