Massive Drug Bust: 87 Kilos of Hashish Seized at Morocco-Spain Border

Moroccan customs officers arrested three people, including Moroccans residing abroad, at the Bab Sebta border crossing who were transporting large quantities of hashish, carefully hidden in their vehicles. In total, 87 kilos of this drug were seized.
The first individual arrested is a 61-year-old Dutch national. Customs agents discovered 5.4 kilos of hashish, hidden in the dashboard of his vehicle. The search of a vehicle transporting two 24-year-old Moroccan women, one of whom resides in Europe, also resulted in the seizure of 81.8 kilos of drugs carefully hidden under the floor of the vehicle.
The persons involved have been taken into custody, pending the conclusions of the thorough investigation conducted by the judicial police under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to dismantle this international drug trafficking network and arrest all persons involved in this illegal activity.
