Massive Drug Bust in Agadir: Tons of Cannabis and Contraband Tobacco Destroyed

Another destruction of a significant quantity of prohibited products (chira, cannabis, and contraband cigarettes) seized during several operations carried out by the Inter-regional Directorate of Customs and Indirect Taxes of Agadir. It was on Thursday evening under the supervision of a joint commission.
The destruction operation took place at the level of the Imi Mqourn cement plant. It involves 3040 kg of cannabis and tobacco, 840 kg of snuff, 4280 of hookah tobacco, and 2,330,000 cigarettes, reports the MAP.
The incineration was "carried out under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, in the presence of representatives of the local authorities and civil protection," the same source specifies.
