Moroccan Authorities Incinerate 6 Tons of Cannabis and Illicit Drugs in Safi

Several tons of cannabis resin (chira) and prohibited products seized by police, gendarmerie and judicial police officers were destroyed by incineration last Thursday in Safi.
The Safi customs service proceeded to destroy 4.6 tons of chira and other prohibited products that had been seized. The destruction took place by incineration, as well as the incineration of 1.3 tons of Kif and 170 kg of tobacco.
This operation took place in Sidi Khlil in the Had Hrara commune in the province of Safi.
A delegation of representatives from the local authorities, civil protection, security and health, as well as the public prosecutor’s office, was present during the incineration destruction operation, reports La Map.
