Massive Drug Bust: 1,500 Kilos of Hashish Seized in Canary Islands

Two Moroccans were arrested on January 2 in the middle of a drug transaction, along the coast of the Canary Islands. The merchandise, estimated at 1,500 kilos of hashish, was also seized.
The two Moroccan nationals were part of a team unloading this merchandise. The tax administration agents patrolling the coast intercepted the transaction they were following at a distance, reports Diario de Avisos.
According to the same source, the 1,500 kilos of hashish seized was intended to be hidden on the coasts of this island. The unloading was underway on the beach of La Caleta, in the town of Castillo del Romeral, before the patrol team intervened.
