Massive Cannabis Haul Washes Ashore on Moroccan Beach, 3 Arrested

Three individuals were arrested after cannabis resin bales washed up on a beach in Sidi Rahhal in the province of Berrechid. The gendarmerie elements opened an investigation to understand what really happened.
The discovery of these cannabis bales was made on Sunday by the inhabitants of the locality of Sidi Rahhal, surprised by the sight. Alerted, the gendarmes came to secure the site, in order to prevent onlookers from getting their hands on the drugs. Despite this, individuals managed to seize a few boxes of cannabis resin, reports the daily Al AKhbar.
An investigation has been opened to understand how and under what conditions these cannabis bales were rejected by the sea, and especially the people involved in this trafficking. Three individuals were arrested for having got their hands on bales before the arrival of the gendarmes. They were taken into custody.
