Marrakech Vaccine Incident: One Dead, Two Hospitalized After Janssen COVID Shots

In Marrakech, a woman died after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, Janssen. Another is in a coma while a third is having reversible convulsions. Two investigations have been opened.
Incidents occurred in Marrakech on Monday following the vaccination of three women working in the same hotel and of the same age. All were vaccinated with Janssen. One of them died after going into cardiac arrest, another had convulsions followed by a coma and the third had reversible convulsions, but her condition is stable, reports Médias 24.
The competent public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into these incidents. The health services (forensic) have done the same. In a statement, the Menara Marrakech branch of the Moroccan Association of Human Rights (AMDH) calls for "the opening of a transparent investigation to determine the causes of the death of the young woman who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine dose on July 26, 2021, when she fainted with five other young people, mostly women".
In Casablanca and Agadir - two cities that have also received the Janssen vaccine - no incident has been recorded so far.
