Morocco Receives 300,000 Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Doses from US via Covax Program

As announced, the kingdom has indeed received the 300,000 Janssen doses from the Johnson & Johnson company.
This donation from the United States is part of the Covax program, an initiative aimed at ensuring equitable access to Covid-19 vaccination in 200 countries, the State Department said on its Twitter account.
A source close to the management committee indicates that these 300,000 doses will be reserved for areas with high virus circulation, namely Agadir, Marrakech and Casablanca. The same source confirms that this delivery is part of the Covax program.
This donation, which benefited from the support of the African Union, "demonstrates the United States’ commitment to helping the international community end the pandemic," the State Department tweet said, adding that the vaccine developed by the pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson is a "viral vector" vaccine, which uses as a support another less virulent virus, transformed, to add genetic instructions from a part of the virus responsible for Covid-19.
