Marrakech’s La Mamounia Palace Wins Global Design Award in Dubai

The Moroccan palace La Mamounia and the design and architecture firm Jouin Manku were awarded the Ahead prize in Dubai. This award recognizes the most beautiful hotel, restaurant and bar projects around the world for their architecture and decor.
Expressing his joy, Pierre Jochem, General Manager of the luxurious palace in Marrakech, said that this distinction is a source of pride for Morocco.
And he added: "We are very proud and happy with this nomination, which confirms that our architectural choices and design approaches with Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku in the renovation of La Mamounia were the right ones".
In the Restaurant category, "L’Asiatique by Jean-Georges" was awarded; as well as in the Bar, Club, Lounge category, "Le Bar Churchill" was also rewarded.
