Iconic Marrakech Hotel La Mamounia Unveils Luxurious Renovation

La Mamounia, the legendary hotel in Marrakech, with its exceptional luxury, decor and style, has undergone major renovations since 2020 to offer its clientele a more sumptuous setting and better quality of service.
The general manager of La Mamounia, Pierre Jochem, commissioned architects and designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku to rehabilitate the hotel, which has been in operation for 98 years, while preserving its charm and heritage. The objective of this ambitious and in-depth reform is to better satisfy the clientele. To this end, the hotel has completely rethought its restaurants and bars. Thus, its restaurant Le Français has become L’Italien with a view of the hotel garden. To this are added L’Asiatique and Le Marocain. The very convivial Bar Majorelle has also been touched up, reports ABC.
The large swimming pool of La Mamounia has also undergone a metamorphosis. A buffet is offered there for breakfast. Another hotel restaurant, Le Pavillon, as well as its famous bar, Le Churchill, are not left out. The novelty is a 21-seat cinema room reserved exclusively for guests. The renovated La Mamounia also offers a tea room managed by the famous pastry chef Pierre Hermè. Next to it are the Gallery, the spa and the hammam, one of the best in the city.
La Mamounia has 135 rooms and 71 suites, three 700-square-meter riads, a private pool and luxurious settings that offer unparalleled comfort to visitors. Major figures from the world of cinema, art, literature and politics have stayed in this contemporary hotel, leaving them with unforgettable memories.
