Marrakech to Launch High-Speed Bus Network, Boosting Urban Transit

In Marrakech, the Bus City company is working on the realization of its lines. The high-level bus service (BHNS) project will soon be a reality.
Things are taking shape for the Bus city line project. The company is in the phase of developing topographic studies for this project, which covers four lines: T01, T04, T05 and T06. It is a question of carrying out plan surveys concerning streets, squares, public gardens, private buildings, engineering structures as well as updating the existing topographic plans. The opening of the tenders is scheduled for October 6 at the offices of the Bus City Motajadida company in Marrakech.
The T01 line of the future high-level bus service extends over about 16.8 km crossing the Hassan II boulevard - Bab Doukkala - Jamaâ El Fna - Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, we are told. As for the T04 line, it extends over 14.7 km crossing the Guemassa boulevard, Jamaâ El Fna, Bab Doukkala, Boulevard Allal Al Fassi and the dry port. As for the T05 line, it extends over 10.2 km and will have to integrate Bab Ghmat, Syba, Jamâa El Fna, Koutoubia, Bab Doukkala, the Sidi Ghanem industrial district and the Al Azzouzia bus station. Finally, the T06 line (11 km) passes through Tamansourt, the Sidi Ghanem industrial district and Bab Doukkala. This lot also includes the Safi boulevard (N7) and the service to Tamansourt.
