Marrakech Advances High-Capacity Bus Network with Four New Lines

In Marrakech, the company Bus City Motajadida is advancing its high-level bus service (BHNS) project. It has entrusted the preliminary design studies of lines T01, T04, T05 and T06 to three companies.
The French engineering firm Ingerop, a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôts et de Consignation Group, Novec, as well as the firm Atelier A1 won the tender launched by the company Bus City Motajadida to develop the preliminary design studies of the BHNS lines in Marrakech, against Egis and Artelia. This project covers four lines: T01, T04, T05 and T06.
The T01 line of the future high-level bus service extends over about 16.8 km crossing the Hassan II boulevard - Bab Doukkala - Jamaâ El Fna - Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, we are told. As for the T04 line, it extends over 14.7 km crossing the Guemassa boulevard, Jamaâ El Fna, Bab Doukkala, Allal Al Fassi Boulevard and the dry port. As for the T05 line, it extends over 10.2 km and will have to integrate Bab Ghmat, Syba, Jamâa El Fna, Koutoubia, Bab Doukkala, the Sidi Ghanem industrial district and the Al Azzouzia bus station. Finally, the T06 line (11 km) passes through Tamansourt, the Sidi Ghanem industrial district and Bab Doukkala. This lot also includes the Safi boulevard (N7) and the service to Tamansourt.
