Marrakech Airport’s AC Crisis: Heatwave Sparks Urgent Call for Government Action

Member of the Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM) Abdellatif Zaim has questioned the government about the recurring breakdowns of the air conditioning systems at Marrakech-Menara Airport, calling for urgent intervention to definitively resolve this problem.
Faced with the growing complaints of Moroccan travelers and tourists, the deputy is asking the government to repair the air conditioners in the airport’s terminals, especially during this heatwave period with temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius. In a written question addressed to the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Zaim stated that this situation, which recurs every summer, is damaging the image of this renowned airport and Morocco in general.
The parliamentarian also called for the implementation of viable measures to offer better reception and comfort conditions to the many travelers, tourists and investors passing through this airport, one of the showcases of the kingdom.
