Maroc Telecom Assures Service Continuity Amid COVID-19 Traffic Surge

Maroc Telecom has reassured its customers about the continuity of its services and the quality of its facilities, which can support the increase in Internet traffic during this period of health crisis.
In its explanations, the telecommunications operator claims to have adapted its organization to guarantee its clients and partners continuous access to its services, following the change in usage induced by the announced containment measures.
According to Maroc Telecom, on the technical side, the basic principle adopted is to have a minimum of employees on site and to continuously ensure the required quality of service and the availability of the central platforms, while connecting new clients and resolving breakdowns within the allotted time.
As for the commercial and customer service aspect, Maroc Telecom has initiated several actions, including the functional maintenance of its network of agencies, the reorganization of the work space, the exceptional supply of the entire commercial network as well as the local network with recharge stock.
Furthermore, the Telecom operator has stressed that it has observed an increase ranging from 25 to 30% in traffic, without any impact on the quality of its services. Additional capacities have also been quickly mobilized in order to avoid any risk of network saturation.
