Manchester United Eyes Moroccan Star En-Nesyri to Boost Struggling Attack

Due to a series of winless matches, Manchester United is looking for a striker and is betting on the recruitment of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri who would do a better job than Guinean Serhou Guirassy.
On Saturday, Manchester United lost to West Ham (0-2) on the Hammers’ pitch in the Premier League. Another winless match for the Mancunians. Seeking to turn the tide, the English club wants to acquire Youssef En-Nesyri, one of the architects of Morocco’s historic run at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. It no longer seems interested in Guinean international Serhou Guirassy, currently the second top scorer in the Bundesliga. The latter wishes to join the Tottenham Hotspur squad rather than a dysfunctional team, according to The Sun. Red Devils coach Erik Ten Hag has already sent emissaries to monitor Seville and Moroccan leader En-Nesyri. The latter had scored twice to eliminate Manchester United from the Europa League last season. According to Football Order, the Andalusian club could agree to a deal for the 26-year-old player during the January transfer window if Manchester United offered a £16 million offer.
Since his arrival at Seville, Youssef has been chaining good performances and decisive goals. He has won two Europa League titles with the Seville club. So far this season, the player has scored 9 goals in 22 games in all competitions. Last year, he shone with the Moroccan national team. With his Moroccan team-mates, he had a good World Cup in Qatar. The Atlas Lions reached the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history. En-Nesyri scored the decisive goal against Canada in the group stage to secure Morocco’s first place. Moreover, he sent the kingdom and Africa historically to the World Cup semi-finals with a header against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
