Amrabat Struggles to Impress at Manchester United Amid Loan Concerns

So far, the Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat has not been able to establish himself at Old Trafford. His club, Fiorentina, which loaned him to Manchester United, fears that he will lose market value and that the English club will not exercise its purchase option.
Semi-finalist of the last World Cup, Sofyan Amrabat does not make the fans of Manchester United dream. He accumulates poor performances and provokes their anger. In the match against Manchester City last Sunday, he made a big mistake. While the Red Devils were leading 1-0, the Citizens turned the game around in the second half after a brace from Phil Foden and a goal from Erling Haaland. Served by Rodri, the Norwegian international scored his goal in the derby and sealed the victory (3-1) against the powerless Atlas Lion. The latter failed to control the ball properly. An additional mistake that has annoyed Manchester United fans. They are demanding the departure of the Moroccan international.
After this defeat, Fiorentina fears that United will not accept its option to definitively sign Amrabat, and estimates that he could now have more difficulty selling the Moroccan international to another team after the end of his loan. If the Mancunians do not exercise his purchase option in June, the Moroccan international will leave Old Trafford and will automatically see his contract with Fiorentina extended by one year.
Amrabat joined Manchester United at the end of the summer transfer window on loan from ACF Fiorentina until June 2024 for a fee of 10 million euros with a purchase option of 21.5 million pounds.
