Manchester United Fans Question Amrabat’s Impact as Midfielder Struggles to Adapt

Since his arrival at Manchester United, Sofyan Amrabat is struggling to find his bearings. The club’s supporters doubt his ability to succeed at Old Trafford.
On loan from Fiorentina, Sofyan Amrabat spends more time on the bench than on the pitch. The Moroccan midfielder, who emerged during the World Cup in Qatar, has not yet met the expectations of the Manchester United fans who had applauded his transfer and thanked the coach, Erik ten Hag, for having unearthed this talent.
Two months after his arrival at Old Trafford, the 27-year-old player has failed to integrate into the Dutch technician’s system, causing disappointment among the supporters who did not fail to make it known on social networks. On X (ex-Twitter), some Manchester United fans believe that Manchester United recruited the Moroccan midfielder because of his tackle on Mbappé during the World Cup semi-final.
Titled left-back, a position he is not used to, against the Eagles in the League Cup, Amrabat did not convince. Against Manchester City (0-3) in the Premier League where he found the midfield, he did not particularly shine and was even replaced in the second half. Since this defeat, the Moroccan international has no longer returned to the field in the English championship. He remained on the bench during the victories against Fulham (1-0) and Luton (1-0).
Amrabat found the field against Copenhagen (3-4) in the Champions League, and against Newcastle (0-3) a week earlier, in the League Cup. But he failed to make his club win.
