Manchester United Eyes Sevilla's En-Nesyri as Potential Martial Replacement

The Moroccan striker of FC Seville, Youssef En-Nesyri, could be a safe bet for Manchester United, who will recruit him to replace the French international Anthony Martial.

Manchester United should seek to replace Anthony Martial with Youssef En-Nesyri, as the French international is out of contract this summer and plagued by injuries. The Frenchman is recovering from a knee operation and there is no guarantee that he will return to action before the end of the campaign. This is evidenced by his disappointing performances: he has only scored two goals in 19 matches this season. The situation of the 28-year-old player makes the Danish international Rasmus Hojlund an undisputed starter up front.

En-Nesyri would be an ideal ally for Hojlund next season. The Moroccan international has scored 14 goals and provided two assists in all competitions in 33 appearances. He has scored five of his goals with his head this season, including one against Manchester City in the UEFA Super Cup at the start of the season. The 26-year-old player has scored 10 times in La Liga, each time he has represented his country at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). He has also made an impression by winning aerial duels.
