Youssef En-Nesyri lashes out at his coach after a substitution (video)

Moroccan striker of FC Seville, Youssef En-Nesyri, argued with his coach, Quique Sanchez Flores. The Atlas Lion did not appreciate the coach’s decision to replace him during the match against Celta Vigo (1-2).
Youssef En Nesyri opened the scoring in the 18th minute of this match played on Sunday at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium. In the second half, in the 61st minute, coach Quique decided to replace the Moroccan striker with Lukebakio. After leaving the field, the Moroccan international showed his anger by kicking a refrigerator. Quique, having seen the player’s inappropriate gesture, reproached him for his attitude. For his part, En-Nesyri also let the technician know that he did not appreciate being replaced, reports AS.
Ocampos, who had also been changed at the same time, tried to separate them and calm down Quique so that the situation did not escalate. The Atlas Lion commented on the incident, reassuring that he has no problem with his coach. "Nothing happened. It was a difficult change, it’s just nervousness during the game. The coach knows that I always want to help my team. Since we were leading 1-0, I didn’t want to come out, I was focused on the second goal. These are things that happen. We have to forget about it and get ready to win the next games and leave the fans calm and happy," he told the club’s media.
Quique started En-Nesyri for this match, despite the training sessions he missed last week due to his discomfort. "I think he’ll get through it," Quique said about the Moroccan in the pre-match press conference. But the coach analyzed the match and felt that En-Nesyri had to leave the field in the second half, after a successful first half in which he scored a goal. The Moroccan international was named man of the match.
