Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Nears Fenerbahçe Move, Snubs Roma Offer
Between the Turkish club Fenerbahçe and the Italian club AS Roma, the Moroccan striker of Sevilla FC Youssef En-Nesyri, whose contract expires in 2025, has chosen his next destination.
Fenerbahçe and AS Roma are interested in Youssef En-Nesyri, but the Moroccan international has a much greater inclination towards the Turkish club. According to sports journalist Rudy Galetti, Fenerbahce is about to sign an agreement for En-Nesyri. The Turkish club would have reached an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of the Moroccan striker. It would also have presented a more lucrative salary offer to the 27-year-old player compared to AS Roma. His signing could therefore be effective in the very near future after the success of his medical examination. Fenerbahce needs En-Nesyri to strengthen its squad before the upcoming season, in order to be highly competitive at the national and international level.
On the web, the Moroccan striker has already bid farewell to Sevilla FC. "I love you very much @SevillaFC, I owe you everything I have in my life, but sometimes it is necessary to set sail for new adventures, we will see that soon," he wrote on X.
En-Nesyri had an exceptional performance this year. He scored 20 goals and provided three assists, in all competitions combined in 41 matches. He managed to save Sevilla FC, ranked fourteenth in the league with 41 points, from relegation.
