Moroccan Star Youssef En-Nesyri Signs 5-Year Deal with Fenerbahçe

Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri has officially joined the Turkish club Fenerbahçe. The former Sevilla FC player has signed a five-year contract with the Istanbul-based club.
"Welcome to the greatest sports club in the world, we wish you more trophies," Fenerbahçe said to its new recruit. En-Nesyri, aged 27, had arrived in Istanbul the day before to undergo his medical examination prior to signing his contract.
Scorer of 16 goals last season with Seville, the Moroccan international was a prime target for many European clubs. His transfer to Fenerbahçe is part of the Andalusian club’s desire to balance its accounts, heavily impacted by a deficit of 90 million euros over the last three seasons.
By signing with Fenerbahçe, En-Nesyri joins an ambitious club, runner-up in the Turkish league last season. The Yellow and Blacks, coached by José Mourinho, are aiming for a new league title and a qualification for the Champions League.
