Premier League Clubs Eye Sevilla’s Top Scorer En-Nesyri Amid Transfer Speculation

Youssef En-Nesyri could bid farewell to Nervión during the summer transfer window. The Moroccan striker, whose contract with Sevilla FC expires next season, is already attracting the interest of several major Premier League clubs.
En-Nesyri has confirmed his great form this season where he has delivered remarkable performances. The Moroccan striker has scored 17 goals in all competitions, becoming Sevilla’s all-time top scorer. But in financial difficulty, the Andalusian club is considering parting ways with the Moroccan international, whose market value is on the rise, to replenish its coffers. With the Moroccan’s contract coming to an end, Sevilla plans to put him on the transfer market this summer, according to La Colina de Nervión.
According to the Caught Offside website, the former CD Leganés player would still be on West Ham United’s radar. The London club is preparing to make an interesting offer of 25 million euros to Sevilla to acquire En-Nesyri, as a replacement for Michail Antonio whose departure is announced. West Ham also plans to recruit Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla’s former coach. Moreover, other clubs like Aston Villa or Newcastle United have also shown interest in the Moroccan.
During the last summer transfer window, the Atlas Lion had already attracted the interest of several Premier League clubs, Serie A and Saudi Arabia who were ready to secure his services. But En-Nesyri had declined these tempting offers, preferring to stay in Nervión, which was going through a difficult period. "I thank all the clubs that have contacted my agent. But for now, I want to keep my mind on Sevilla FC. It’s not a question of money. It’s a sporting question, of wanting to help the team in the worst moments," the 26-year-old player had said.
