Saudi Clubs Join European Giants in Pursuit of Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri
Youssef En-Nesyri should bid farewell to Seville this summer, after four seasons during which he has achieved remarkable performances. The Moroccan striker is attracting the interest of several major clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, who are ready to break the bank to secure his services.
AS Roma coach Daniele De Rossi will meet Youssef En-Nesyri on Monday to try to convince him to join the Italian club. Turkish media sources have announced that the Moroccan striker is on Fenerbahçe’s radar, now led by José Mourinho. The Portuguese coach is said to be on the verge of reaching an agreement with the Atlas Lion, whose merits he has praised on several occasions.
The Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah is also interested in En-Nesyri, believes the Saudi newspaper Sabq. Freshly promoted to the Saudi Premier League, the club would be determined to recruit the Seville striker during this summer transfer window. For his part, the Moroccan international does not wish to leave Europe at the end of his contract with Seville. The 27-year-old player prefers to continue his career in the Italian or English championships.
Youssef En-Nesyri is one of the revelations of the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Morocco. In four seasons, the Atlas Lion has been dazzling at Seville, making it into the Top 10 of the club’s all-time top scorers. Last season, he was voted the third-best header scorer in Europe.
