Manchester United and Chelsea Target PSG’s Hakimi as PSG Sets High Price Tag

Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi is being targeted by Manchester United and Chelsea. PSG, for its part, is demanding a tidy sum of money to let its star go.
Chelsea and Manchester United are showing interest in Achraf Hakimi. Due to Reece James’ recurring injuries, the former needs the Moroccan international to strengthen its defense next season. The latter is, for its part, looking for a replacement for English international of Congolese origin Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who should leave the club due to lack of playing time.
For its part, PSG seems ready to let Hakimi go. Its leaders are planning a major reconstruction of the team. The Parisian club would be willing to accept an offer of around 50 to 60 million pounds sterling for the Moroccan full-back during the summer transfer window, reports Football Insider.
The 24-year-old player arrived at PSG in 2021 from Inter Milan for 60 million euros. His contract runs until June 30, 2026.
