Manchester City Eyes PSG’s Achraf Hakimi as Potential Kyle Walker Replacement

Achraf Hakimi, one of the key players of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), could leave before the start of the 2023-24 season. The Moroccan right-back, who no longer feels happy in the Parisian club, is already attracting the interest of several major European clubs like Manchester City.
Achraf Hakimi is on Manchester City’s radar, who won the Premier League and the Champions League this season. Josep Guardiola, the coach of the English club, has asked to have the Moroccan full-back in his team, to replace Kyle Walker who is expected to join Bayern Munich, reports Marca.
The 24-year-old Moroccan international, who had a difficult end to the season at PSG, is seriously considering saying goodbye to the Parc des Princes, even though his contract runs until June 30, 2026. For its part, the Parisian club is not ready to let Hakimi leave, unless it receives an interesting offer of at least 80 million euros, according to the same source.
Clearly, the transfer of the Moroccan right-back from PSG to Manchester City will not be easy. The English club is not making its first attempt to recruit Hakimi. The Premier League champion had set his sights on the young player when he was on loan at Dortmund, but had been overtaken by Inter Milan, who ended up signing Hakimi.
