Manchester United’s Amrabat Under Fire After Costly Error in Crystal Palace Defeat

Applauded after his first performance with Manchester United, Sofyan Amrabat disappointed during the home game against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday. A former Manchester United player holds him responsible for the club’s defeat (1-0).
Is Sofyan Amrabat already falling off his pedestal? Titled for the second consecutive time on Saturday with Manchester United against Crystal Palace for the 7th matchday of the Premier League, the Moroccan international did not amaze the fans. While he had contributed to his club’s victory over Crystal Palace (3-0) on Tuesday, it is said that he did not show up to the task against the same team on Saturday. He committed a foul that allowed the opposing team to score the only goal of the match. A poor performance for which the 27-year-old player is facing criticism.
"We talked about Amrabat before the game, it’s his first full game in the Premier League and he hasn’t had a great game so far. He makes a stupid foul that leads to this free kick," former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel told Metro. And to add: "I expected a Danish player [United striker Rasmus Hojlund] to score at the other end of the field today, but for Joachim Anderson to hit the ball like that, it’s a fantastic goal".
