Manchester United’s Amrabat Addresses Challenges Amid Club’s Rocky Start

As Manchester United is in bad shape, Sofyan Amrabat acknowledges the difficulties encountered this season. His start with the Reds has oscillated between strong moments, like the victory against Brentford, and disappointments, including losses to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray.
Amrabat’s debut was marked by a series of defensive injuries within the club, forcing him to play as a left-back, an unusual position for him. But, before the international break, the player on loan from Fiorentina remains optimistic about the club’s future.
In an interview with Premier League Productions, he confides: "There are difficult moments, whether in life or in football. But the season has just started and despite the difficulties, I am convinced that we will progress."
"I think in life, but also in football, things don’t always go well. There’s always a time when it can be a bit difficult, and I think that’s a bit the case right now," he said.
Sofyan Amrabat, on the verge of earning his 50th cap with Morocco against Côte d’Ivoire, has already collaborated with coach Erik ten Hag at Utrecht. Familiar with the demanding style of the Dutch technician, he believes that progress within Manchester United requires patience and perseverance.
"We devote a lot of time and energy to it and, as I said, there are a lot of good things. Of course, we are not yet perfect, but I think no one is. It takes time. With time and results, confidence will only grow."
