3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Northern Morocco

A seismic shock of a magnitude of 3.5 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded on Saturday in the province of Driouch.
According to a statement from the National Institute of Geophysics, the shock, the epicenter of which is located 33 km off the coast of Driouch, occurred at exactly 01:41 min sec. No human or material damage was reported on site.
According to the same source, the felt shock has a depth of 15 km, a latitude of 35.55°N and a longitude of 3.58°W.
The last shock recorded in Morocco dates back about two weeks in the Al Hoceima region. The epicenter of this shock had occurred in Sidi Boutmim.
