3.6 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Ouarzazate Province in Morocco

A seismic shock of a magnitude of 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded on Sunday in the province of Ouarzazate.
According to a statement from the National Institute of Geophysics, the shock, the epicenter of which is located in the commune of Ouisselate, occurred at 6:54:22 pm (GMT) exactly. No human or material damage was reported on site.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING, the felt shock has a depth of 16 km, a latitude of 30.677°N and a longitude of 7.054°W.
The last shock recorded in Morocco dates back to about a month ago in northern Morocco and more precisely in the Al Hoceima region. The epicenter of this shock had been in Bni Gmil.
